BANDIPORA — Separatist leader Abdul Samad Inqilabi has been booked under the Public Safety Act days after his arrest from his house in Ganistan Sumbal village of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Inqalabi’s brother, Muhammad Yousuf, said that Abdul Samad was arrested in a nocturnal raid and was lodged at police station Sumbal.
“From the police station, he was shifted to sub-jail Bandipora. Today in the morning, PSA was slapped over him and subsequently shifted to Kot Bhalwal Jail Jammu,” he said.
He said from the past two years after his release from the jail, Abdul Samad Inqilabi was inactive due to his frail health. “We don’t understand on what ground he was booked again under Public Safety Act,” his brother said. (KNT)
