“GOI wilfully spreads fake propaganda about Kashmiri mainstream & Muslims responsible for pandit exodus & doesn’t want this fake divisive narrative to be exposed.”
SRINAGAR — PDP President and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Tuesday alleged that she has been placed under house arrest right before she could visit the family of a Kashmiri Pandit in the Harmain area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district who was recently attacked by militants.
“Placed under house arrest today because I wanted to visit the family of the Kashmiri pandit attacked in Shopian. GOI wilfully spreads fake propaganda about Kashmiri mainstream & Muslims responsible for pandit exodus & doesn’t want this fake divisive narrative to be exposed,” tweeted Mehbooba Mufti.
Pertinently, on April 4 militants fired upon a Kashmiri pandit, Sonu Kumar Balaji, a resident of Shopian. Sonu, a medical shop owner, was injured and subsequently shifted to the hospital for treatment.
