SRINAGAR — A Railway Protection Force officer who was injured in a militant attack on Monday in the Kakapora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district has succumbed to his injuries at SHMS hospital in Srinagar.
Official sources said that the Sub Inspector of Railway Protection Force identified as Dev Raj who was injured in the Pulwama militant attack has succumbed to his injuries this morning. “He was treated in the ICU ward 17 of SMHS, today he lost the battle of life,” they said.
Pertinently, two cops of the Railway Protection Force were injured on Monday evening after militants attacked them in the Kakapora area in southern Kashmir. Both the injured personnel were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, where HC Surinder Kumar succumbed to his injuries.
Police had already registered a case in this regard and further investigation is on. (KDC)
