Fire Engulfs Four Residential Houses in Brane Nishat
The fire emanated from one residential house around 5:30 pm and engulfed at least three other houses in the vicinity.
SRINAGAR — Four residential houses were damaged in a massive blaze in the Brane Nishat area on the outskirts of Srinagar on Monday.
They said the fire emanated from one residential house around 5:30 p.m. and engulfed at least three other houses in the vicinity.
An official of the fire and emergency department here said that fire tenders from five stations were rushed to the area to douse off the flames in the congested locality. As per reports, one person has suffered injuries.
The immediate cause of the fire was also not known even as one structure suffered substantial damage while a portion of three others was damaged. Police said that a case has been registered and further investigations are underway. (GNS)
