The injured duo was identified as Najmul, 21, and Anees-ul-Islam, 28.
SRINAGAR — Militants fired upon two non-locals in the Nowgam area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Friday evening, police said.
A top police officer said that two non-local labourers were injured in a militant attack, this evening in the Nowgam area, the Srinagar city outskirts.
They have been shifted to SMHS hospital for treatment.
Both the non-locals hail from West Bengal whose condition is stated to be critical.
A doctor at SMHS hospital said that two bullet injured persons were brought to the hospital. He said one has sustained bullet injury in the neck and the other in the head.
