SHOPIAN — Two more militants have been killed in a military operation in Badigam area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district, taking the toll to four, police said.
Police officials said that two more militants have been killed in addition to two militants killed earlier, however, the identity of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained.
Earlier, as per the officials, the operation started after a joint team of police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Badigam.
As the joint team of forces approached the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them triggering the operation.
