Injured PDD Labourer Succumbs at SMHS Hospital

The succumbed labourer was identified as Waseem Ahmad Mir, son of Ghulam Muhammad Mir of Devbugh Kunzar.
BARAMULLA — A casual labourer of the Power Development Department (PDD), who was critically wounded while repairing an HT-wire at Batpora area of Kunzar in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, succumbed to his injuries on Sunday.
An official told the news agency, Kashmir News Observer, that an employee identified as Waseem Ahmad Mir, son of Ghulam Muhammad Mir of Devbugh Kunzar was critically injured while rectifying the electric supply at Batpora.
He said that the injured was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment where from he was shifted to SMHS hospital for further treatment.
However, he succumbed to his injuries today morning and after legal medical formalities, the body will be handed over to his family-(KNO)
