The slain civilian was identified as Mohammad Aslam Makdhoomi, a resident of Makdoom Sahib Nowhatta.
SRINAGAR — A civilian was killed and at least twenty-one people were injured after militants on Sunday attacked security forces by hurling grenade at Amira Kadal area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
A police officer told KDC that militants attacked a joint team of Police and security forces with a grenade. In this incident, around twenty-one people received wounds and they have been shifted to SMHS hospital.
A Civilian identified as Mohammad Aslam Makdhoomi, a resident of Makdoom Sahib Nowhatta who was injured in this attack succumbed to his injuries at SMHS hospital.
The injured persons who are being treated at SHMS hospital were identified as Zoha (a minor), Ghulam Mohammad, Shaziya, 25, Parveena, 26, Ulfat, 23, Suhani,16, Farhana, 28, Nazia, 35, Ayaz, 42, Rehman,10, Najma, 25, Abdul Gaffar, 50, Ateera, 35, Danish,17, Rubeena, 34, Asmat, 20, Reyaz Ahmad, 40, Dilshada, 25, Muhammad Aman, 10, Qaiser, 20.
