Unidentified Gunmen Kill Sarpanch in City Outskirts

The slain was identified as Sameer Ahmad Bhat.

SRINAGAR โ€” A Sarpanch was shot dead by unidentified persons at Khonmoh area of Srinagar outskirts on Wednesday evening.

Official sources told the news agency, Kashmir News Observer that a Sarpanch identified as Sameer Ahmad Bhat was fired upon by unidentified gunmen at the Khonmoh area.

He has died on the spot, officials said. (KNO)
