Train Crushes Man to Death in Budgam

Officials said that a man was hit by a train between Nowgam-Budgam railway section and died on the spot. 

BUDGAM — A man was crushed to death by a moving train in between Nowgam-Budgam railway section in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday.

Officials said that a man was hit by a train and died on the spot near 69/0 to 70/2/3 km (Bdgm Sina section).

The man died on the spot and his identification is being ascertained, he said.

Pertinently, a 20-year-old youth was killed after being hit by a train in between the Hamre-Sopore railway section in Baramulla district on Saturday evening. (KNO)
