SRINAGAR — The holy month of Ramadan will begin tomorrow (Sunday) in Jammu and Kashmir as the moon has been sighted, announced J&K Grand Mufti on Saturday.

He said that moon sightings have been reported from various places and other places.

“The moon marking the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan has been sighted. The holy month will begin from April 03,” Mufti Nasir said. He said that the first Tarawih prayers will be offered tonight (Saturday).
