Missing Army Personnel’s Body Recovered in Budgam

BUDGAM — The body of an Army personnel who had gone missing on Monday evening was found on Thursday at Labren village of Budgam in Central Kashmir.

The army personnel was identified as Sameer Ahmad Malla son of Mohammad Yaqoob Mall of Lokripora Khag.

A local news gathering agency reported the body of Malla was found in village Labren Dalwesh Khag.

Meanwhile, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Zone, Vijay Kumar said that there is no mark of firearm injury on his body while police is looking into both aspects including militancy and murder.

“Dead body of soldier Sameer Ahmad Malla found. No mark of firearm injury found on his body. #Investigation is going on. We are looking into both aspects, terror crime & murder: IGP Kashmir,” Kashmir Zone Police tweeted.
