J&K Logs 686 New Covid Cases, 06 Deaths in Last 24 Hours

The total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir are  4,47,334.

SRINAGAR — 686 new positive cases of COVID-19, 312 from Jammu division and 374 from Kashmir division, have been reported in J&K today. Also, 06 Covid deaths have been reported, 04 from Jammu ivision and 02 from Kashmir division.

The total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir are  4,47,334.

Moreover, 3168 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 1,038 from Jammu division and 2130 from Kashmir division.

Also, 50,340 doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to 2,08,09,465.

Out of 4,47,334 positive cases, 14,924 are active positive, 4,968 in Jammu division and 9,956 in Kashmir division, 4,27,689 have recovered and 4,721 have died — 2,311 in Jammu division and 2,410 in Kashmir division.

Out of 2,19,18,950 test results available, 4,47,334 samples have tested positive and 2,14,71,616 samples have been tested as negative till date. Besides, 59,479 COVID tests have been conducted in last 24 hours.

Till date 58,76,140 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 28,903 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 14,924 in isolation and 4,35,146 in home surveillance. Besides, 53,92,446 persons have completed their surveillance period.

Srinagar reported 119 cases, Baramulla reported 41 cases, Budgam reported 51 cases, Pulwama reported 29 cases, Kupwara reported 33 cases, Anantnag reported 30 cases, Bandipora reported 19 cases, Ganderbal reported 09 cases, Kulgam reported 33 cases while as Shopian reported 10 fresh cases for today.

Similarly, Jammu reported 137 cases, Reasi reported 07 cases, Udhampur reported 25 cases, Rajouri reported 05 cases, Doda reported 81 cases, Kathua reported 10 cases, Samba reported 04 cases, Poonch reported 03 cases, Kishtwar reported 28 cases while as Ramban reported 12 fresh cases for today.

Moreover, out of of 5038 dedicated level 1 & level 2 COVID beds, only 338 (6.70%) are occupied.
