The amount of Rs 35581 crore has been allocated to Jammu & Kashmir for the next fiscal year in the Union Budget.


SRINAGAR โ€” The Government of India has allocated Rs 35581 for Jammu & Kashmir in the Union Budget presented by Finance Minister of India, Nirmala Sitharaman, in the parliament on Monday, news agency KNO reported.

As per the report, the amount of Rs 35581 crore has been allocated to Jammu & Kashmir for the next fiscal year in the Union Budget.

The amount of Rs 35581 crore has been allocated to meet the deficit/resource gap of the erstwhile state, Rs 279 crore has been granted as UT disaster response fund, Rs 273 crore as rehabilitation of Dal-Nigeen lake, Rs 130 crore, Rs 476.44 granted towards equity contribution for 624 MW Kiru and Rs 500 crore support for capital expenditure.
